Water, water everywhere... (in Cyprus, anyway)

From This is Cyprus, 1 month ago, Read 0 times. Similar articles

Yesterday it was officially announced that water restrictions have been lifted. This isn't exactly news to me, since we've had continual mains water for the past ten days or so. Nice to have it confirmed officially, although apparently some people are unhappy at the announcement, since people are likely to become... Read more

Even though we live in a globalized world, I'm always surprised by how many people want to make or eat anything, and everything, no matter where they live. Whether or not it makes sense. Take Parisian macarons. In the last year or so, they've become the new cupcake and not a week goes by when I don't get a message about someone freaking out and wondering why the top of someone's batch of macarons cracked, or where someone can get real, honest-to-goodness French macarons in Podunk.... Twenty-ten thus far

From Java Jive, 1 month ago, Read 0 times. Similar articles

I dig a life of change and spontaneity, but it’s sure not easy on the soul. Fortunately, I’ll now have more time to blog and get back into photography once again. I’m only now starting to settle after nearly 7 months in Manila. The pace of these past few months has been exhausting, but things are finally leveling out. For this blog I... Read more
