Yes, we are back in Spain! Mandy and myself have spent 10 days with my parents in Strasbourg, in beautiful Alsace. Yes, I am of the non-barking kind of Alsatians.We had a very nice holiday in the big cold north (we had minus 19 degrees centigrade, or minus 4 Farenheit, wish I'd had long johns!). And we had snow for a few days!!!!!!!Thanks to everybody for your Christmas wishes! Will browse your blogs today and tomorrow, as we've missed so much, during those 10 days without internet!

Canine sport
At first, I only saw a green lawn, and wondered for what sport it was used. There were no markings on the lawn and no goals. Perhaps, it was no longer used' But the floodlights were new. And then I walked up the hill and saw this sign: Club for German Shepherd Dogs.
P.S. A note for British readers: German shepherd dogs are what we rebranded as Alsatians after World War I.
Update: I managed to find the club's web page (SV OG Kleinblittersdorf) with more photos of the site...
