There are a few places in Rabat, Casablanca, and other major cities where books in English are sold. The large bookstore across from the Parliament (I'll post the name soon) has English novels that aren't too badly priced, but the selection is small. Most book stores that carry English books are either for learning the language or the very old classics, which are worthy of reading. Today's word of the day is one of the funniest words in Darija, slaouia (squash). Specifically, its a white or bottle gourd. It's lighter than a zucchini in skin color and has a little bit of a curvier shape, but tastes pretty similar when cooked.The reason I think its so funny is because the way its said which is kind of hard if your not good at pronunciation by reading like me. Try saying it like slow-we-a and see if you don't smile a lil' bit!

After too many rich coffees, breakfasts, lunches, diners, BBQ's, etc. it's time for a healthier lifestyle. I've successfully made it Linköping Sweden for a few days now, and am starting to get a bit relaxed for my temporary resting place.
