How does a Canadian buy travel insurance outside of Canada'

From Tales of a polyglot traveler, Today, Read 0 times. Similar articles

I am a Canadian citizen, I pay my taxes and my medical bills on time and I am still considered a resident of Canada. I have been in China for over a year and my previous insurance ran out – which didn’t matter because I am covered in China by the school I work for. Now I have to go to Ghana for a week. I’d like to buy travel insurance, but all the sites I’m finding say that you must be in Canada to buy the insurance. I can’t go home first! What should I do' Read more

The great insurance scam

From Der Irische Berliner, 6 days ago, Read 0 times. Similar articles

Unbefuckinglievable. I'm engaged in a struggle with my travel insurance company to try recover the $2,000 I had to pay to get home from Peru after our airline went bust. As you know already, they told me I wasn't covered for it as my policy didn't have "scheduled airline failure". Despite my paying almost ?300 for four month's cover and despite a front page feature on the company's website which claims it is "one of the few travel insurance providers who offered SAFI cover (at no ... Glasses, Clothes And Insurance

From I Never Could Get The Hang Of Th, 5 days ago, Read 0 times. Similar articles

Yesterday saw Irina pop into town (Swansea) to look for some new work clothes, and get her glasses sorted. This left John and I at home with Anna. Despite initial concerns, free life insurance quotes would have turned out to be un-necessary, as she behaved very well, and didn’t start playing up once she realised Mummy wasn’t around. Ira has some new tops, contact lenses and glasses to be repaired and returned soon, Anna and I displayed an ability to get along just fine (useful to... Read more
