Since Saturday

From Not From Around Here, Today, Read 0 times. Similar articles

Saturday was one of the most fun days I’ve had in a while, I went up to Norwich for the first time ever, to meet up with another expat blogger. I would describe the entire experience for you, but Rachel has already done such a great job on her blog, so go have a read and enjoy the fab photos and hilarious video at the end. It was an epic day for me, sunshine, wandering around, an American voice, and I learned something important in our geeky “we have so much in common”... Read more

Even more transportation disasters and some typos

From Amanda and Andrew in Europe, 4 days ago, Read 0 times. Similar articles

Going along with this mini-series, I just remembered an article I read a few week ago. The article in La Razon explained how recently the city of La Paz installed five stop lights around town. They are planning to add several more around the city, and this article was looking at whether or not the working lights were actually doing their job. The article found that the lights were working fine, but nobody stopped at them! They would just honk to warn anybody and go on through. In related news,... Read more
