From Expat Expert, 6 month ago, Read 0 times. Similar articles

I guess I never do anything by halves...But now that I'm trying to figure out how to use all the "social media" out there (it realy should be called "messing with my head and my writing time, media") I'm really getting into it. As usual, I've been biting off more than I can chew and then chewing like crazy! So many expats ask me for writing and publishing advice (and I used to give a workshop on the road but found it was killing me!) that I started a Group for Expatriate Writers and Journalists... We're all going rusty up here!

From Alpine Settler, 6 month ago, Read 0 times. Similar articles

Over the last few weeks the weather here has been totally unbelievable. Quite literally we were 'cooking to death' one minute and 'going rusty' the next!I know the recent rain in the UK was bad too, but because it happened over such a short period of time, the drains, rivers, sewers etc. just couldn't cope with that volume of water, hence the devastation. But here in Italy - especially in the mountain regions it has been a disastrous month so far. Where I am we have had twelve straight days... Read more

From What living in Spain is REALLY l, 6 month ago, Read 0 times. Similar articles

If you watch Spanish TV, especially TVE1 and TVE2 you'll know what I'm talking about when I say that the number and length of adverts on those channels are a real turn off. It's actually why we stopped watching those channels. So today I was quite exctied to read this article but then realised that something somewhere is very wrong. They are currently supposed to not show more than 10 mintues of ads every hour....that's rubbish! For example, Telediario finishes at 9:45. Then at 10:00 there... Read more
