East Africa

From Gateway to Lindia, 5 month ago, Read 1 times. Similar articles

As a freelance journalist, I find it thrilling that I I can stick my thumb to the wind and use my instincts and curiosity to decide where on the earth to go next. Each country is a commission away. I had always longed to go to East Africa so that is exactly what I did this past June. I started out in Kenya where I enjoyed an unforgettable Safari in Masai Mara. Here is a 30 second edit of some recreational filming I did. It was amazing to see animals up-close and in their... Read more

January round-up

From Le Franco Phoney, 5 month ago, Read 0 times. Similar articles

Well well well, January is over. Where did it go' To match the speed of the month, I’m speed writing this entry as I have lots of observations to tell you about. So, first up, the Christmas tree. Not only did I kill it as I mentioned a few days ago, but then the snow dumped overnight (see photo) just to add insult to injury. It’s as if the mountains are laughing at it, rejecting it from the outside after I rejected it from indoors. I still feel a bit guilty. Next up: today’s... Read more

Sandwich and Canterbury

From Les Sharma, 5 month ago, Read 0 times. Similar articles

Had a great family day with the boys and Tamzin today which is really nice at the moment as the business is busy and taking up loads of our time over the weekends. First of all we went to the Sandwich Bootfair (yes there is a place called Sandwich in Kent) and bought some children books and old cars for the boys to play with. Then headed over to Canterbury (Kent) to Tamzin's mum to drop off her birthday card and presents (birthday tomorrow, Monday). Spent the afternoon in her back garden... Read more

The Snowball Project ? är du galen Kelvin!

From Let Me Tell You About Sweden, 5 month ago, Read 0 times. Similar articles

Sometimes friends really amaze me. Take the case of Kelvin. I only know him through our joint love of Swansea City FC. He is an active member of the SEALS (South East and London Swans) which I helped set up some time back. I think the first time I met Mr Cery, I was wearing an empty box of Carling beer on my head as we hurtled on the train towards London from some Northern shithole, Grimsby I think it was… He is just back from a work stint in India and comes up with this beauty, the... George Bush "MISS ME YET" billboard pops up in Minnesota

From Belgium STUDS, 5 month ago, Read 0 times. Similar articles

Somebody has a real sense of humor and a wallet to match. This billboard of Bush went up in Wyoming, Minnesota on I-35, just north of Minneapolis/St.Paul and no one seems to know who paid for it. Wouldn't it be funny if this billboard started cropping up everywhere like the Obama Socialist poster? Not even bluestate Minnesota is safe for the hopey-changers. Oh look!!......Obama's already putting up his own billboards....and blaming Bush. President Spend-a-lot's approval numbers hit a new low... Read more
