I am not going to write here - you have enough to read in the signs below.  It explains it all.  Oh, and click on the pics, they will enlarge so you can read them - or they should.  Hope you enjoy the 2010 Youth Olympic Game story:Kind of odd to read it in the past tense, because it hasn't happened  yet.  The 2010 Youth Olympics are being held August 7th-13th.  If you would like to know more, HERE is the official website. And now you know the rest of the... 2010 Youth Olympic Park - More Artwork

From Justa Clickin', Yesterday, Read 0 times. Similar articles

Laugh at me if you want, but I worried about having not posted all of the artwork.  If I was a child and some got posted and they left mine out, I might be devastated.  I am not going to be the one to break a child's spirit, so here are the rest.  I loved each and every bit of it; I did not pick which ones to display yesterday, just clicked the next in the row until I felt like there was enough.  So today, you get to see the rest of the artwork - all just as great as the... Olympic Park Youth Art

From Justa Clickin', 2 days ago, Read 0 times. Similar articles

I love art - art of any kind; people using their brains to make cool, entertaining and pleasing stuff to look at.  While out and about on Sunday, we browsed through the Youth Olympic Park - did you know Singapore is going to host the 2010 Youth Olympics?  It's gonna be a lot of fun - and it is right around the corner!   In the park, there are displays to browse while enjoying the site.  I loved the kids art they have displayed:This one was great - check it out:So... The Helix Bridge

From Justa Clickin', 3 days ago, Read 0 times. Similar articles

Saturday it was entirely too cloudy to take pics for my preference.  I hate taking pics on an overcast day - even though the professionals say it is the best time.  For me, it is not the best time - nothing comes out crisp and clear like I want it to.  However, Sunday dawned bright and sunshiny, so we went back to the Helix Bridge and took some more pics.  Singapore has some great bridges; the Henderson Wave, the Coleman Bridge, the Cavenagh Bridge and the Anderson... Marina Bay Sands

From Justa Clickin', 4 days ago, Read 0 times. Similar articles

Don't ask me what happened... near as I can figure out, Steve and I started walking to East Coast Park but we ended up at Marina Bay Sands.  Opposite directions, I know, but it happened.  Maybe Marina Bay Sands has a magnet.  Of course I didn't have the right camera lens, it was cloudy and hazy and I was ill prepared, but I made the best of  it.  It would be a fun place to shoot if I had what I needed.  Hey, I can always go back, right' It all started with... Challenged

From Justa Clickin', 1 weeks ago, Read 0 times. Similar articles

A group of us girls went to Melaka yesterday - and we had a great time.  I have posted most of the pictures before so I am going to  post about my biggest challenge in Asia.I am food challenged.  I guess I am a finicky eater - though I never thought I was before.  I don't care for curries, fish, or ginger... seafood causes my asthma to kick and I am severely allergic to coconut.  Are you beginning to see my problem with foods'  I live in Asia... lol...For the... A New Recycled World

From Justa Clickin', 1 weeks ago, Read 0 times. Similar articles

While  at the garden show, I came across an area that was promoting recycling.  What a neat display they had.  We went on the weekend, so the kids were there helping out.  It was fun to see how excited they were about everything.  They were quick to show me what they had made, made sure I took pictures of the back sides and wanted to see the pics.  Here are a few pictures...I found this colorful tree and took a picture of it.  I loved it and thought it would... Singapore Garden Show

From Justa Clickin', 1 weeks ago, Read 0 times. Similar articles

The garden show was great!  I bet I could go a dozen times and still find things to take pictures of.  The only problem I had was the lighting.  You have tungsten and fluorescent lighting overlapping which makes getting the white balance right a pain in the backside.  Note to self, figure out custom lighting and temperature next.  Oh well, I loved looking at all the flowers. The African Exhibit was my favorite - never seen flowers like this, though my friend (hi Leone... Read more

Sharing a few of the National Day practice fireworks.  We loving watching them from our balcony.See the stars and the moon'I could bore you to death with the fireworks pics, but I won't.  Hope you enjoyed these though  :-) Can you tell I have not been up to par for a bit'  This stupid side is nagging at me persistently now; I just try to ignore it, but it keeps on keepin' on.  I refuse to go back to a Dr to give me a bandaid for it, so I try to ignore it some more...... Singapore National Day Practice

From Justa Clickin', 1 weeks ago, Read 0 times. Similar articles

Every Saturday for a month before National Day, Singapore practices for perfection for the National Day Festivities.  Instead of writing about what it is, I will just let you read about it HEREFrom our window, we have the most incredible view of what is going on in the air - of course we don't see what is going on in the city, but our aerial view is breathtaking.  We have yet to brave it up enough to go to the city to find out - you know how much we like crowds - but from our balcony...
