Mom and Pop shop's around Thailand epitomise the Thai entrepreneurial desire. These small shops are found everywhere from the centre of Bangkok to the smallest of Thai villages. They are often at the centre of Thai village life and besides providing goods and services also make excellent places to catch up on gossip. The shops are often just the front portion of a family home and offer all manner of goods including such things as sweets, foodstuffs, bottled water and even small bottles of... Another Swedish company with good customer service Another quick response from a Swedish company. I emailed them on Saturday for an ingredients list and received it on Monday. I had forgotten to ask about the nutritional make up and got that response in 5 minutes. Companies with excellent customer service make marketing research a lot easier. It was very nice to get that help. Nice things happen to me in Sweden. Read more

French Immersion Experience

From Geoff at Mount Allison, 1 month ago, Read 0 times. Similar articles

So although it's been six weeks I've still been thinking about immersion at Sainte-Anne. It was really unlike anything I've done before and turned French from dry memorization of verb tables into something that was amazing to learn more about every day.Our only books I had for the immersion program were Bescherelle: Complete Guide to Conjugating 12000 French Verbs, and Le Mini Visuel, Le Robert &; Collins poche anglais and it was more than enough. the Bescherelle is... the case for teachers

From Gweipo , 1 month ago, Read 0 times. Similar articles

Just read a rather interesting report from the NYT on a study of the effects of good kindergarten teachers - quite startling to say the least. But actually when one thinks about it, it absolutely makes sense. I don't really care if the kids earn a couple of 1000 dollars more or less when they're adults, but I do care that the values of enquiry, perseverance, respect, consideration etc. etc. that we try to instill at home are continued at school.Come back down to the candy delayed... today started off rainy and teary, as i drug my slightly jetlagged painful watery eyed self to the eye doctor. luckily a clinic recently opened one minute from my apartment so it couldn't have been easier. i was pretty sure i had scratched my corneas (do it once and you likely don't forget the feeling) but figured i should have them looked at, just in case.sure enough, i've got scratches on both eyes and some combination of bacteria and allergies, making my eyes water and a bit itchy and in... So my Canon A95 is dying a slow death. Too many drops, I guess. I was really thinking about getting a nice fat superzoom camera (600mm lens and full HD recording' yes please!) because every now and then I like to get a little more serious about taking pictures – but then slip back into [...] Read more

One of my clients brought Kuho Jung, one of Korea’s best designers, to my attention a couple of months ago and today, I purchased Harper’s Bazaar, Korea and was offered a DVD: Kuho, Behind the Scenes from Seoul to New York directed by Jay Tak. I love to be reminded of important things and people! Fashion magazines often come with beauty samples here in Korea but this is first time I’ve seen a DVD and a book attached to the mag’! Yay!
