Today we visited the Teylers Museum in Haarlem and what a wonderful little place it is. There were some very odd devices on display like this Sound Analyzer...really weird, but revolutionary for its' time back in the mid 1860's...the analyzer would show the wave form of sound by using mirrors and a gas flame...
