No longer disgruntled of Cyprus

From This is Cyprus, 2 month ago, Read 0 times. Similar articles

Yesterday morning I was feeling decidedly disgruntled. Three things contributed to this. The first was actually very mild indeed, in the scheme of things. I had ordered a book - having had it recommended to me on Amazon UK - which I had, naturally, assumed was the third in a series I had very much enjoyed. It arrived (actually from the Book Depository, which is much better value to Cyprus) a week or two ago. In preparation for reading it, I re-read the first two books. On Sunday, I... Read more

Lebanese Tabbouleh

From est/ouest, 2 month ago, Read 0 times. Similar articles

What I love about this tabbouleh is the herb/bulgur ratio. It’s so light and fresh that I feel like a real cow when eating so much green grass. It’s a fantastic dish to make with more than one cook - too many cooks don’t spoil the tabbouleh, as there are quite a few tasks to complete separately (washing & drying the herbs, cutting the tomatoes, soaking the bulgur, juicing the... Not my bestfriend

From Idle Moments, 2 month ago, Read 0 times. Similar articles

Diamond is a woman’s best friend. But not in my case because I can’t afford certified diamonds! Kidding aside, I’m not really into jewelries. I don’t wear a single ring nor a pair of earrings. I don’t like wearing bracelets, but I love wearing necklaces (am I contradicting myself here'). The photo [...] Read more

Photo of the Day: End of Camp Whip Cream Pies

From Jet Set Zero, 2 month ago, Read 0 times. Similar articles

Five of the six tutors -- Matt, Perrin, Fiona, Melissa and me -- covered in whipped cream goo. Perrin and I survived our first two weeks of camp and the kids made sure we had a crazed last day. We chased them through a series of “messy games”, such as shaving cream hair style and egg toss competitions.  At the end we  followed camp tradition and let them smother us in whip cream.  We  are sad to leave our fellow tutors and this great camp location but Perrin and I will be...
